Nitro Espresso Martini Recipe

The Espresso Martini is a cold, coffee-flavored cocktail made with vodka, espresso coffee, and coffee liqueur. This is our take on it and lets spice it up a notch with Nitro!



A brief history lesson


Although there are several claims for the origin of the espresso martini. One of the more common claims is that it was created by Dick Bradsell in the late 1980s while at Freds Club in London for a young lady who asked for something that would, "Wake me up, and then fuck me up." And that was how it was popularized.

Preparations & Ingredients



We gonna have 2 versions for the recipe, one regular and one nitro version.

  1. Cocktail shaker for regular.

  2. NitroBrew Kettle Kit for Nitro version.


Here are the following ingredients you will need:

  • 1 ½ oz Vodka of your choice.

  • 1 ½ oz Espresso or Cold Brew Coffee

  • 1 ½ oz Kahlua or Baileys or any Coffee Liqueur of your choice

  • Simple / Almond Syrup (optional)

  • Some Ice cubes



Let's Brew!

  1. Pre chilled your Martini Glass in the fridge or put some ice cubes in it.

  2. Mix Vodka, Espresso, Kahlua, and ice cubes into Shaker / NitroBrew Kettle.

  3. Add few drops of simple, almond or syrup of choice, this is optional.



Let's Serve!


Cocktail Shaker (Regular version)

  1. Shake for 15 seconds.

  2. Pour away the pre chilled ice cubes from the Martini Glass.

  3. Slowly pour into the glass with a strainer.

  4. Finally garnish with Coffee Beans.


NitroBrew Kettle (Nitro version)

  1. Infuse the kettle around 42 psi and shake for 15 Seconds.

  2. Pour away the pre chilled ice cubes from the Martini Glass.

  3. Slowly disperse the drink into Martini Glass.

  4. Finally garnish with Coffee Beans.

*Tip: You may need to release some pressure (approximately 20-30%) before disperse directly on the shallow Martini Glass to avoid any spills.



Take away notes


There you go! Home-made Espresso Martini or with Nitro. Mix and match with different ingredients to your liking, such as replacing espresso with cold brew coffee. Let your creativity flows, that's what cocktails are about!
